	Blæksprutter Cephalopods (Cuvier, 1797) are molluscan species of the class Cephalopoda. They are exclusively marine animals with bilateral body symmetry, a dominant head and several tentacles or arms. There exists around 800 living species of cephalopods and new species continue to be described. Go to species-list (4 species)
	Krebsdyr Crustaceans (Brünnich, 1772) are a very large group of arthropods which includes families such as crabs, lobsters, crayfish, shrimps and krill. They are characterized with their biramous limbs and their neuplius larvae. There are around 50,000 described species of crustaceans, ranging in size of under a millimeter to several meters. 	Fisk The fishes is further divided in the three groups; Cartilaginous fishes (sharks, rays, skates and chimaeras or ghost sharks), jawless fishes (lampreys and hagfishes) and bony fishes (all the others). This is largest group of interest on DESCNA. Go to species-list (157 species)
	Pattedyr og fugle Grouped under one we here present pictures of different mammals and birds, with a large interest of the big whales. Go to species-list (33 species)
